Incumbent Democrat Bob Casey has won re-election to the U.S. Senate, winning a second 6-year term in Washington. Casey defeated Republican challlenger Tom Smith. Smith largely funded his own campaign, spending millions of his own money, outspending Casey by an estimated 2-to-1 margin.
